Hello World, Again
Welcome to my profile. You have clicked on it and I am appreciative of it. We are in there.
I’m Marcus. I’ve been a paying member of Medium for a couple of years now, playing around with different concepts, and trying to figure out what to do with this thing.
Hours were spent reading informative articles about the art of writing, how to build a bigger audience, SEO, and what have you. Turns out, I am not passionate about either of those.
So I started a zine called Space Cake, which to be fair, is still an awesome name, sense be damned.
It was envisioned as a companion piece to the television shows you’re watching, the video games you’re playing, the rap music that makes you do a screwface.
That lasted about one month.
A short-form post here, a piece on Trailer Park Boys there. But just never able to stick with it.
I was lost and lazy, more of the latter but the former rings just as true.
But I know I love to write. I know how to say funny things about stuff. I’ve read books.
So I’m starting fresh. Again.
But instead of waiting for the perfect publication to post on or not being consistent enough to get a zine off the ground, I’ll start small. Just write my uninformed opinions on Seinfeld and go from there.
